I had the pleasure of cruising on the QM2
when she sailed across the Transatlantic
direct to Fort Lauderdale in Florida USA.
I needed to be in Florida for another annual
NFL Super Bowl to be held that year in Miami.
I really have given up on flying so this was a
great chance to see what the new Queen was
like and I wasn't disappointed in the ship!
She is a beautiful ocean going liner, if some
what a little narrow in places given her size!
She does everything you expect at sea on a
ship this size all done in the old classic style,
and this is were it let me down!
Despite it's pedigree, it was in no way as
opulent as I was expecting! In fact it was
almost run of the mill, in line with all the
other cruise ships heading for the Caribbean!
At times I felt over dressed, thinking I could
have saved a bob or two on clothes!
Still a nice liner, excellent service, well done.

almost fell asleep watching the stars!
It's a great venue for lectures and demonstrations.
Theatre seating I found strange, they must have
taken out some dinner tables between the rows and
left a very uncomfortable seating area I found!
Hard to see over the seating row in front of you! Tomato juice was free! Other ships take note, it's
what makes your passengers happy that makes
them return to you on a regular basis, surely you
know that don't you?
